Research

Available to paid CCH and UCF Mapper Users
Research is a tool that allows users to comprehensively search and view the relationships between the Unified Compliance Framework's Common Controls, Authority Documents, Citations, Dictionary Terms, and Assets.
Research was created out of a need for Mappers to be able to comprehensively view the language being used in Common Controls, how Common Controls are tagged, what Citations map to the Common Controls, and how the Citations map to Common Controls.
Research is an evolving tool that will eventually include all of the UCF's elements.

• UCF Mapper: step text update
  Updated Tag Citations step: “Please tag the primary nouns and primary verbs in the first mandate” to “Please tag the primary nouns, primary verbs and any secondary nouns and secondary verbs in the first mandate.“
• UCF Mapper:  step text update
  Updated Tag Citation step: “Enter any necessary additional guidance from stub citations from which this citation descends. Leave blank if not applicable.” to “Enter any necessary additional guidance, including necessary guidance from stub citations from which this citation descends. Leave blank if not applicable.“
• UCF Mapper: step text update
  Updated AD Cataloging step: “The common name is a duplicate and this Authority Document will be rejected” to “The common name is a duplicate. Please enter a unique value or this Authority Document will be rejected.“
• UCF Mapper: Automated e-mail from starting Training project
  Updated the automated e-mail sent to users when a Training Project is started to clearly indicate that a Training Project has been started.
• UCF Mapper: curly quote conversion
  Implemented an automated conversion of curly quotes to straight quotes for text pasted into Citation Guidance field in Map Citations tasks.
• UCF Mapper: Training Project History links to tasks
  Implemented the ability to access In Progress Training Projects from the Project History table.
• Research integration into UCF Mapper
  Research will now be accessible via the side navigation bar in UCF Mapper!

Bug Fixes

• UCF Mapper: IE 11 Match details blank
  Fixed the issue with a Citation to Control Match details appearing blank in IE 11.
• UCF Mapper: Training Project correct answer
  Fixed the issue with show correct answer pop-up cutting off long Citation Tags for Tag Citations Training Projects.
