Tutorial: A quick history from documents to databases
Until 1979, the term structured data was not part of most of our language. It was the realm of programmers in white coats in laboratories. Then, Dan Bricklin launched VisiCalc. VisiCalc (short for “visible calculator”) was the first spreadsheet computer program for personal computers, originally released for the Apple II by VisiCorp. Why do I mention this? Because he introduced us to cells, rows, and columns. Until then, we only had text on a screen for the masses.
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between ISC2 and Unified Compliance. We are here to support cybersecurity experts in streamlining their compliance programs so they can get back to keeping their systems safe.
ISC2 members are eligible for an exclusive 20% discount on new CCH accounts. This offer is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your compliance processes and ensure your organization meets the highest cybersecurity standards.
Stay tuned for partnered webinars and more educational opportunities with ISC2 and Unified Compliance.
